Osteopathic Manual Medicine
& Functional Medicine
“To find health should be the object of the physician. Anyone can find disease.”
—Andrew Taylor Still, MD, DO
Welcome to Synchrony Osteopathic Medicine.
I am Joshua Haugh, DO, a fully licensed physician fellowship-trained in osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine. At Synchrony Osteopathy, I treat patients as complex and dynamic individuals. My practice weaves together osteopathic manual medicine and functional medicine to create customized support for you.
Finding health. Resolving root causes.
The core of Synchrony Osteopathy is a grasp of the unity of mind, body, and spirit.
My practice is grounded in the perceptual experience of wholeness. I work together with patients to go beyond symptom relief to connect with inherent self-healing capacities, whenever possible.
I offer treatment across the entire lifespan, including patients struggling with:
Musculoskeletal pain disorders
Injuries including repetitive motion disorders
Headache disorders and migraine
Traumatic brain injury and post-concussive syndrome
Pediatric conditions including chronic ear infections, newborn feeding difficulties, and colic
Pregnancy and perinatal conditions including nausea and fatigue
In addition, I offer specialized supplementary support for distress from complex medical illnesses, including autoimmune, oncologic, gastrointestinal, endocrine, pulmonary, cardiac, rheumatologic, neurological, reproductive, infectious, and dermatological conditions. “Invisible illnesses” including fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, post-Lyme disease syndrome, migraine, IBS, and neurodevelopmental disorders are areas of distinct interest for me. Post-Covid-19 recovery and rehabilitation is an emerging area of focus.
Osteopathic treatment can be helpful at every age. I work with patients across the entire lifespan, supporting newborns to elders. Newborns of established patients receive a complimentary initial visit. I am also interested in working with hospice teams to provide osteopathic treatment at the end of life, including home visits when appropriate.
